Dear Booksellers, publishers, lovers and advocates of the written word,

We invite you to join our celebration at the 5th Annual Sonoma County Book Fair on Saturday, September 18, from 10am to 5pm on Old Courthouse Square, downtown Santa Rosa.

This year, the Fair plans more events directly on the Square. We will have informal readings, a poetry jam, music, writing and book-making booths to keep our visitors engaged and entertained all day long. Our reading venues this year include the Sonoma County Public Library and Copperfield's Books. Again this year there will be a Poet's Venue and events on the main stage of Old Courthouse Square. Last year we were able to close Mendocino Ave. to traffic to enhance the ambience and we anticipate doing that again this year. Over 60 authors will attend this year's Book Fair.

We hope that you will be part of our celebration of the written word, whether you are coming for the first time or returning for the pleasure of the day in wine country with a book-loving crowd. When you send the attached form with your check, we will reserve a booth. If you have a preference for your location, let us know now. Our reasonable rates remain the same as they were for our 1st Fair and we encourage sharing, which we can arrange if you wish it.

Thank you very much for participating in the 2004 Sonoma County Book Fair!
